I’m so amazed how God works. Every time I feel like things couldn’t get better, he turns me around and says…”surprise”! LOL Last year, I made a lot of friends and became closer to my long lost family. At the same time I let go of a lot of pain (didn’t even realize I had). My vision of knowing what I need and want is 20/20 now with the help of him! So many of us get wrapped up in our own problems, we can’t see the ones around us breaking. Or maybe the other way around…we focus too much on others problems, that we don’t handle our own head on! Both of those ways are WRONG and only end up hurting ourselves in the end. I am good for helping others before myself, but I have learned, to fix me first, that way I can efficiently build those around me back up. Every day, I strive to become a greater woman, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, lover, friend and above all, and better Christian! I will never forget what Ghandi said, “I like your Christ; I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” So many quotes from Ghandi have made me take a look at myself, only to find where I fell short. But that’s what we need at times, a REAL reality check. Learn how to take advice, along with good solid knowledge. Try to understand where others are coming from; miscommunication is the #1 problem in all types of relationships. Never give up on those who aren’t willing to give up on you. Trust in those who haven’t proven you doubt, never assume someone will repeat what another has done. And love with every once in you.

So, most people ask the same question every year. “What’s your New Year’s Resolution?” Well I personally never had one, and never will. Simply because…I don’t have to wait for a “new year” to better myself. I look at each moment as a chance to change my ways. So this leads me to the question,
what is your opinion on New Year’s Resolutions?
-Much love..stay peaceful and positive!-
